The Emirati Abu Zar'ah al-Muharami neutralized large numbers of the Giants' forces and withdrew them to safe locations.
In response, the forces of the Homeland Shield, affiliated with Abdulrahman al-Lahji, alongside Force 22 coming from Saudi Arabia specifically from Tabuk, which is fighting its first battles, are suffering heavy attrition and terrifying losses among the ranks of the dead and wounded.
This situation prompted al-Lahji to file an official report accusing al-Muharami of treason and warning that the situation in Dhobab has become extremely dangerous.
It is worth noting that al-Muharami had previously ousted al-Lahji from command of the Third Giants Brigade, so al-Lahji fled afterward from the Emirates to Saudi Arabia and settled in Medina, abandoning the fighting.
But the matter was not to his liking; the Saudis brought him back to the field and handed him command of the Homeland Shield instead of Bassam al-Muhdar, with whom he had clashed.
Bassam belongs to the al-Hajuri group, while al-Lahji belongs to the al-Fayush group, and the al-Hajuri group views al-Lahji and al-Muharami as misguided and among the people of the Fire!
And the tragedy, amid all these confusions, is that those who pay the price and fall between dead and wounded are the simple folk from the sons of the people, while these leaders remain untouched—neither al-Lahji, nor Hamdi, nor al-Muharami, nor others.
